Senior Photos
Senior photos mark the closing of one life-chapter and the start of another. My casual approach is designed to capture timeless images of the places most reflective of your personal journey. My style is candid/natural, where I apply minimal post-processing techniques to bring out the best in each image striving to re-create the reality of the moment as it happened.
I adjust to accommodate your personal preferences, favorite locations, and personal passions, we'll create a custom-shoot itinerary to help you get the images you want and the memories you created.

What is included?
- 90 minute session, or more for groups, allowing us time to explore multiple locations and to support several outfit/combinations
- Pre-session consultation, to discuss your passions, inspiration albums, locations on campus, and those "must have" shots
- Quick-turn "Sneak Peek", often the evening of your shoot, delivering 2-3 images so you don't have long to wait to see what we created together
- Hand-processed fine-tuning of each delivered shot, color-corrected and adjusted for optimal quality using professional post-processing tools
- 35ish or more delivered images per subject -- everything passing my quality control, without making you choose the subset of shots you like
- Digital delivery in a dedicated gallery on my website including one year of webhosting
- Licensing permitting printing, downloading, and sharing (e.g. social media) for all personal uses without restriction
- Photo files in both regular and ultra-high-resolution formats
- Options for professional reprints, enlargements, or photobooks (addl fee)
What should I expect?
My aim is to make your shoot as easy and casual as possible. Have an idea? Share it, and we'll do it if we can. Have an inspiration shot? Let me know! Don't want to worry about that? Let me do it for you!
Before the shoot, we'll schedule a 15-30 minute chat, to get to know each other, so you can share your ideas, so we can discuss your favorite locations on campus, and so I can understand what has been your journey. This will help tailor our session to meet your specific goals.
The Session will generally be scheduled for early morning or late afternoon, to take advantage of the natural light. We'll meet at the shoot location determined in our chat, sort out some light paperwork (portfolio release and such), and get started. The number of locations and what we do at each will vary based on your individualized preferences. Shots will include a mixture of dress attire, gown (with and without cap), and outfit changes if desired. Sessions run appx 90 minutes, but there is flexibility to accommodate your needs.
Following the shoot, generally within a day, I will process 2-3 images in a "Sneak Peek" album, so you can enjoy the excitement of seeing the results of our work. This will be followed by the full album posting, generally 7-10 days following the shoot, and often sooner.

What is your pricing?
Classic Session: $275 for a 90 minute session, pre-session consultation, shooting, handcrafted color correction and digital editing, quick turnaround "Sneak Peek", dedicated webalbum with one year hosting, digital delivery, and more.
Signature Session: $525 for a 2.5 hour session, includes everything in the Classic session, plus one hardcover photographic album (20 pages), and a mini-print package including your choice of a featured 11x14" or 8x12" enlargement, three 5x7" prints, and 16 wallet prints.
$100pp for additional subjects. Group size limits apply - please contact for details.

FAQ
Do you charge by the hour? What if my session goes over?
Small group shoots are fixed price, where I take a casual approach to shooting based upon the needs and complexities of a shoot. My shoot session duration estimates are just that, and presented to give a general expectation, and I don't monitor minute-by-minute. For larger groups I charge an hourly rate.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No. Your pictures will be delivered via a download portal, and you can print them where you wish. For those seeking white-glove service, I'm happy to arrange those for you from curated, high-quality labs.
How many pictures will you deliver?
I won't set arbitrary limits or make you choose in advance. Everything that passes my quality control will be yours. While not guaranteed, a typical shoot yields 35-45 images.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use the highest-end digital bodies from Nikon and professional quality lenses. I'm pleased to have been accepted into Nikon Professional Services as of 2022.
For those interested in the techincal stuff, I have two bodies - A Nikon Z9 and Nikon D6, and I use lenses ranging from 14mm to 300mm, with a combination of primes and zooms.
Do you do special assignments? What if my needs aren't listed?
Just ask! I'm happy to work up a quotation if it is something I can do, and if your needs aren't my strengths I'll tell you that too. I won't accept a job I can't do well.
